HogMe - Harley Davidson locator and motorcycle ride companion

The HOGME iPhone app was developed to be THE companion app for every motorcyclist who uses an iPhone. The HogMe app is packed with state-of-the-art features that will entertain every motorcycle enthusiast out there, especially those who ride a Harley! HogMe for iPhone includes the following features:

1. SEARCH - Find the locations of Harley Davidson dealerships worldwide. This feature includes information such as, phone numbers, store websites, and physical addresses that will launch turn-by-turn driving directions in the iPhone map program directly from the app. HogMe also makes contacting the dealership simple. Just touch "Call Store" to call the dealer, or tap "View Website" to visit their website. Look up Harley Davidson Dealerships by orienting the map to the geographic area you wish to search, and all the dealerships within a chosen range will be shown. You can view the stores as pins on a map or as a list. You can also save a list of your favorite dealerships for quicker access to stores you visit or contact often, and view them as either a list or a map of your favorite dealerships. 2. MY RIDES – With this feature you can actually record your Motorcycle Rides! Just get on the bike, hit "Start Your Ride", and HogMe will begin plotting your ride as you go. If you stop to take a break during your ride, the app will prompt you to be sure you dont want to end your ride. It will automatically continue recording when you resume your ride. When youre done with the ride, you can view a map of your route, and view the details of your ride including total distance and ride time. Once youve saved and named your ride, your Facebook friends who also have the HogMe app will receive a notification, and can view and make comments on your ride. You can even share a snapshot of your ride via text message, email, AirDrop, Twitter, and Facebook with your friends who dont have the app.

When starting a new ride you are also provided with current and future weather conditions so youll know what to expect on your ride. It is separated out into three sections (Right Now, Next Hour, and Next 24 Hours) and provides very detailed information like the closest storm and when you should expect the precipitation and for how long. This service is powered by the very popular Forecast makers of the Dark Sky Weather app.

NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

3. MY FRIENDS - This feature allows you to connect with your friends through your Facebook account. When you login through your Facebook account, you can easily invite friends to download the HogMe app so you can share your rides with them, and view and comment on their rides too. If one of your friends shares a ride that youd like to take yourself, simply select that friends name from your list to view the ride. Then youll be able to view a detailed map of the ride making it easy to duplicate. This feature makes the HogMe app VERY interactive for all of your motorcycle-riding friends!
